Lobe, cross section. Typical body of a foliose lichen: on top a cortex of fungal-hyphae, followed by the
layer of symbiontic cyanobacteria and beneath a layer of loose ordered fungal-hyphae. Here follows a brown layer
of mycelium. This brown layer builds the rhizines.
